For this set, I lay down a strip of multi-color LEDs on several pieces of wood and put them into my Kenyan top bar bee hive. After the bees built their comb on top of the lights, I removed it, and wired the lights up to an Arduino so I could program different patterns into the display. I cut the cases using a Glowforge.
